The City of Bellflower hosted it’s first Student Art Festival on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Town Center Plaza. Participants included 33 students from nine Bellflower schools. Each grade level, 3rd through 6th, was assigned a different art theme and each student created artwork depicting the theme. Art was judged based on creativity, quality, clarity, and overall presentation. First place winners from each grade level will have their artwork exhibited at Bellflower City Hall starting on October 24, 2019 until the end of the year.
